How to calculate my Rental Budget?

Majority of Landlord & Property Management companies requires tenants income is 3X the rental rate. Take the gross monthly income for everyone who will be on the application and divide it by 3 to get your max rental budget. 

Example: 

Income: $3,000 a Month

Rental Rate: $1,000 a Month

How much is Security Deposit

The security deposit is usually the same amount as the rental rate; however, in some cases, if the credit score is considered low, the landlord may request double the security deposit.

How long does the rental process take?

Normal range from 1 to 2 weeks. Landlord do not make money holding the property so the sooner the move in the better for them.
